How to choose a Wood blinds specification
01
Stain or paint
Stain shows grain and wears evenly; paint chips at the ladder holes.
02
Check the moisture
Bathrooms and kitchens need a sealed slat or an aluminium alternative.
03
Choose the tape
Cloth tape softens the look; ladder cord is more discreet.
04
Allow for weight
50 mm basswood is heavy — specify a reinforced headrail above 180 cm.

Kiln-dried basswood in a dry room will not. Avoid above radiators.
Can they be shortened?
Slats can be removed on site; the headrail cannot be cut.
Is a fire rating available?
A treated option meets NFPA 701 on request.
What colours are stocked?
Natural, oak, walnut and ebony. Custom stains from 100 sets.
