The fabric
Where the light actually leaks
On a blackout roller most light escapes at the edges, not through the fabric. We machine the channels to the measured reveal and add a brush seal, which is why the specification asks for the reveal width, not the window width.

No. The tube and fabric are cut together at the factory; site trimming voids the tension.
